Simple Delicious Pizza Sauce

This recipe was given to me by my friend Trish Figgers, mom of 9 and frugal homemaker. I added more water and some optional ingredients, but this is our go-to and favorite pizza sauce. SIMPLE DELICIOUS PIZZA SAUCE

(Makes enough to sauce 2 – 15 inch pizzas)

1 – 6 ounce can  or 7 ounce jar of organic tomato paste

2 cans or jars of water

1/2 – 1 teaspoon each powered garlic, oregano, and sweet basil (to taste)

Pinch of salt (to taste)

2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Pinch of unrefined sweetener of choice (optional)

 

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until well-blended and thickened. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking. Spread sauce lightly and evenly on pizza crusts. Top and bake pizzas as directed.
