FRIDAY – Bagels and Benjamin

Shalom Y’all,

Today I canceled our Ladies’ Bible study due to the weather, but one sweet lady and her daughter didn’t get the message, so they showed up on time. It was a blessing though as she was able to confide something on her heart and ask for prayer. She would not have done that in the group. We had a wonderful day of fellowship and ministry.

Then, she told me she was interested in baking with whole grains, so I took her into my Baking Center (in my kitchen) and we ground wheat and made 2 batches of whole wheat cinnamon raisin bagels and fresh organic soy milk (she is a vegetarian and loves soy). We had the BEST time and it was a simple day with a friend. G-d’s plans are more important than ours. I know He was in control of the whole thing and got us together.

Today is the 15th birthday of our son who passed away at age 3 1/2. We are going to have a little party for him. We miss him terribly and it’s hard to think of him being 15 and not having him here with us. We do take comfort in knowing Benjamin is safely in the arms of Messiah Yeshua and awaits us there.

~~In Messiah,
