REAL FOOD ON A DIME

Shalom Sisters,

Our current situation is that we are making heavy, heavy cuts in our food budget to repay debt. And since we are on a fixed income and have fixed bills (mortgage, ins. etc.) the only 2 places we could cut are gasoline for the car and food.

So, I need to get REALLY creative here!!

Oh, and it was easier before I changed my diet to grain-free and low carb for my diabetes!! I can’t just eat ww bread, pasta, rice, beans and grains, which is what I have in my pantry and can make! (That would be too easy, LOL!)

So, we need to have proteins and veggies for me and the family (they need their protein and veggies!) as well as ww breads, pastas, grains and beans for them.

We also are giving up some of our brands that are organic if they are too expensive. The ones we are sticking to are organic milk, organic eggs and organic meats. Other than that, we take the brands with the least amount of bad “stuff” in it.

More on the way as we  work through Real Foods On A Dime.
